Finlivo Expense

Privacy policy

Last updated 8 November 2026

The same policy you’ll find in the app under More. Questions or requests: privacy@finlivo.app.

What Finlivo stores

Your account (name, email, optional phone and profile photo), and what you add: accounts, income and expenses, categories and budgets, people and loans, notes with their checklists, money lists and reminders, receipt photos, and your settings.

Why

Only to run Finlivo for you: show your money, debts and notes on every phone you sign in on, and remind you about the notes you set reminders for. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t show ads.

Who can see it

Your money, people and notes are private to you. Nobody else can see them.

Notes

Notes you write, with their checklists, money lists and reminders, are stored like the rest of your data and are private to you. Reminders are set on your phone itself. Locking a note makes Finlivo ask for Face ID, a fingerprint or your phone’s PIN before it opens. It is not a separate encryption, so don’t keep passwords or card PINs in notes. A deleted note goes to Trash and is removed for good after 30 days.

Where it’s kept

On secure cloud servers (Supabase) with access rules that stop other users reading your data, and a copy on your phone so Finlivo works offline. If the app crashes or hits an error, the technical details are sent to Sentry with only your account id: no name, email or money data.

Your choices

Edit or delete anything you added at any time. Deleted transactions, people and notes go to Trash, where you can restore them or delete them for good. Export your transactions from Money, or share a report as a PDF, which is made on your phone. Delete your whole account in More → Password and security: your data is removed from our servers.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. What is in Trash is removed for good after 30 days. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our servers straight away; copies in our hosting provider’s backups expire within 30 days.

Security

Everything is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your sign-in is kept in your phone’s secure storage, and App lock can require Face ID or a fingerprint. Finlivo never asks for bank logins or card numbers.

Services we use

Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Expo (app updates) and Sentry (crash and error reports). They process data only to provide these services to Finlivo. No advertising or tracking services are used.

Children

Finlivo is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Who runs Finlivo

Finlivo is run by Khandaker Mahfuz Hasan, who is responsible for your data. For any privacy question or request, including deleting your account without the app, email privacy@finlivo.app.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date above changes and important changes are shown in the app. Questions: use Contact support in More → Help and about.
